The core component of pyrolysis equipment is the pyrolysis reactor, which mainly consist of a heating base and a reactor body. The reactor's insulation shell and heating base are filled with ceramic wool that must be protected from rain, once they get wet, they will lose their insulating effect. In addition, the feeding system, cooling system, oil tank storage system, emission cleaning system, and ash discharging system do not require indoor installation. However, all of these systems are made of carbon steel. It's better keep them away from rain to avoid rust and corrosion.

When considering the installation of pyrolysis equipment, one of the primary factors to evaluate is the environment in which the equipment will operate. While it may not be strictly necessary to install pyrolysis equipment indoors, doing so can offer several significant advantages.

Ultimately, while outdoor installations are possible, the benefits of indoor setups—ranging from operational efficiency to safety and compliance—make them a compelling option for many pyrolysis projects.
